Danette Anthony Reed is the 31st International President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Ms. Anthony Reed received her Bachelor Degree in Science, Industrial Engineering, from Northwestern University where she was initiated into the Gamma Chi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in 1976. She then went to ​
receive her Master of Business Administration Degree in Finance from Souhern Methodist University. Ms. Anthony Reed has been a dedicated member for over 46 years earning her the status of a Life Member and Silver Star member. Within her 46 years of membership she has obtained over 24 leadership positions which include International First Vice President, the previous International Treasurer and President of Omicron Mu Omega Chapter in Dallas, TX, where she is a current member and was a charter member.
